I got my round trip tickets from Cebu Pacific! Remember during special holidays there’s always a seat sale so that’s the best time to book at 12 mn. My Cebu - Hongkong fare is 272 php and Hongkong to Cebu is 277 hkd that’s 1850 pesos. More or less my rt fare is 2200 pesos.
I paid an additional 1620 php for the travel tax and another 850 php for the terminal fee at the airport.
Tip: Just exchange 1000 pesos at the airport because the exchange rate is really bad. Exchange the rest when you arrive in HK.
Immigration tips: if you’re employed bring the ff: Leave of Absences; Certificate of Employment; Round trip tickets & Confirmed Hotel Bookings in HK/Macau.
Hotel/Hostel: I always booked in advance using AGODA. Find the cheapest for your travel dates. I recommend you choose Ashoka Delta located at 16th floor in Chungking Mansion. Easy access to MTR station. Room rates starts at 750 - 850 php per head per night.

What to expect: Rooms are really small. Small!!! including the space, beds and comfort room but as long as it’s safe, clean, and has a hot shower you’re good. All hotel rooms in HK are typically small because they don’t have enough space especially those located in the city proper.
Food: Not really a fan of their food but just budget 25 - 30 hkd per meal if you want to stick into my budget. You can find Jollibee, KFC, Pizza Hut and Mcdonalds near Chungking Mansion so no worries.
So when you get into the Airport first thing is buy the 4G sim I got it for 80 hkd unlimited data for 7 days and calls. You need data for googling places and instructions in case you get lost. Yes, there’s a lot of public wifi but if you’re like me who’s really dependent on the internet and wants to update social media from time to time then get it! Make sure your phone is Factory Unlocked not postpaid.
Buy the Octopus Card in Klook for Airport Pickup load 300 hkd for hassle free transactions in MTR and Buses. Plus you’ll get discounts. You can use it for transportation and buying stuff.
Ask some of the Airport Staff where’s the bus station. Then buy the ticket 🎫 just say A21 Bus going to Tsim Sha Tsui that’s 15hkd one way. Drop off to the 14th stop and just walk straight, on your left you’ll find Chunking Mansion next to Holiday Inn.
Day 1
Since I got an early flight 6:10 am we arrived in HK at 10 am so make the most of it.
Study the MTR carefully because you need to interchange trains to get to the ff destinations. When buying the tickets just tell the customer service representative of your last destination or use your octopus preloaded card.
