This was One of a sudden trip on a rainy season. Just saw a seat sale on skyjet a week before, and i could not book until i have an update on visa bulletin, which was out the next day. Unfortunately, its retrogression, i thought its a sign to book for Palawan! So i did booked that morningðŸ¤..
On the other hand, i have a week to prepare for it. Researched online, posted events until i found people traveling on the same dates with me thru facebook and couchsurfing. Which is really a very useful app to look for fellow travellers and events.
That weekend, i met one of the people i will be travelling with, Inne she's from Indonesia and we get along easily. She's quiet and fun to be with at the same time. She has lots of travel stories and i wanted to visit bali next! Most importantly, she doesn't mind when im working and she just lets me sleep as long as i want to. Lol.
Now, I had a group for my port barton trip. But before the good times, i think some delays and hassles really have to be on the way. Flight got delayed, van transfer misunderstandings- so i have to wait for like 2hours at the terminal where 1st van dropped me off for another van to send me to another van. Like wow. Thats quite a trip! Well people at the terminal were nice though they call out all of the possible vans i might get in to at the junction. Until i arrive safely to Port Barton where my new friend Inne is waiting for me at Besaga Cafe for dinner.
The next day, i contacted MaiMai whom i made event for a semi private island hopping. With kuya Bebs our boat captain who was really nice to organize everything for us. And such a small world that MaiMai and her bf is on the same van i last had, of course i didnt recognize her at the corner. These couple were so cool and well travelled too. We spent the whole day all together.
And on our last day in PB, Inne and I just decided a half day to white beach. After breakfast, we ask for a boat going to white beach but we chose to be dropped at coconut beach instead and just walked to white beach. Coconut beach is good for pictures but swimming not coz theres lots of jellyfish around. White beach is perfect for chilling and swimming. Then we get habal-habal going back to town so we can see how its like on the rough road beside the mountain and see the view from above.
When were back, we just had a quick lunch at reef cafe next to Tribal hotel were we stayed. And ask kuya bebs to book a van for us and he also get a trike to fetch and dropped us at the van terminal.
