Trip Overview
Considered as a short and easy trek, our Annapurna Panorama Trek is an ideal trek for trekkers who want to bring their family and kids along with them for a memorable trekking adventure in Nepal. As there is no risk of getting altitude sickness, the trek is one of those laidback treks that doesn’t ask for the enormous amount of physical endurance capabilities and can be done by old age people and small kids in a matter of days not weeks.
Often called as the ‘Ghorepani Poonhill Trek’, Annapurna Panorama Trek begins with a one-day sightseeing tour around the historical and cultural heritage sites of Kathmandu city. Once you have done that, we will head out for a 7-hour long drive to Pokhara city – a tranquil lake city for foreign tourists to spend overnight. At Pokhara, you can enjoy tasty Nepali and international cuisines, watch the gleaming Himalayan mountains while strolling along the lake side street and experience a quaint subtropical natural atmosphere by boating on the shimmering Phewa Lake.
Now we need to leave Pokhara city behind us for a couple of days and drive off to Nayapul which is a small tourist friendly town where you can will start your actual on a foot trekking adventure. Once, we get off from our vehicles at Nayapul, the remainder of our days will be covered up by enchanting forested trails and routes bursting up with lively wild vegetation and charming local village communities. Many trekkers go through these exact trekking trails with a dream of reaching the magnificent Annapurna Base Camp. However, we shall also feel the exhilaration and pleasure of going on a trek that encompasses all the required aspects to give you a thrill of your lifetime.
Shortly after leaving Nayapul, we hike up to Ghorepani village by passing through several villages on the way. Ghorepani village is a popular tourist destination where we plan on spending a night so that we can go for a short hike up to Poonhill- our most anticipated destination, early in the morning the next day. An unforgettable view of the entire Annapurna range awaits us at the top of the Poonhill. You will get a breathtaking panoramic view of the Himalayan mountains which will include Mt. Annapurna (8,091m), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Mt. Machapuchare (6,993m) along with some other mountain peaks as well.
