The Port Blair is a perfect gateway to the rich beauty and serenity of nature, water sports and relaxation. The best time to visit Port Blair in Andaman and Nicobar Islands starts from November and April-May, in these time period you can easily travel without any hustle. You can experience the peak duration between December to March.


Heavy Monsoon is experienced at this island from June to September, if you are the Monsoon lover and want to travel with the light rains to boost the enjoyment, pack your bags in June.


How to travel in Port Blair?


1- Rent a two-wheeler


You can hire a rental bike from your resort/hotel, or these are available at the jetty, the prices ranges from Rs. 500 to 1000 per day. Avoid using the bike during the rainy season as the roads get slippery, this can cause uncertainty.


2- Public transport


Public buses operate from the market area to the jetty, it cost near Rs. 100-250/-, there are certain stoppages, there can be rush during the peak durations. However, it is not suitable for everyone as the buses are not well conditioned, so if you have time, you can increase the budget and book a cab or taxi to have a fast and safe journey.


3- Tourist cabs


You can rent a tourist cab or taxi from the Port Blair or near the jetty. If you are travelling on a tour package, the taxi are already included but if you are travelling without any package, you have to set the deal of the taxi.


4- Auto Rickshaw


These are available at the cost of Rs. 50 to 250, these are the best suitable for short distance, and if you have to go on a long rides then costs around Rs. 250-350/-.

1- Corbyn’s Cove


It is surrounded by lush green palms trees with dense tropical forest, this is the most common beaches where most of the tourist prefer to enjoy water sports, relaxation with their friends and family. It is located on the right side of the Port Blair approx. 7 KM. The traveling part of this place, an amazing treat to the eyes. A good deal of famous water sport activities like Jet ski, Scuba Diving makes a famous destination.

2- Samudrika Naval Marine Museum

It has a perfect mixture of Ancient and Modern Andaman, This museum has a huge blue whale skeletal at the entrance, definitely it has an Aquarium that contains almost all variety of marine fish. The timing of this museum is general, i.e. [10:00 AM to 5:00 PM].

3- Dinner Cruise Treat

A beautiful and heavenly dinner cruise is hosted by TSG Bella Bay that departs in the evening from the Junglighat Jetty, this is best suitable for a group of friends or romantic couples to enjoy the moment while having the treat to the stomach while listening to your loved music, this is the perfect time which provides an amazing refreshment.
