So your meal prep hasn’t gone too well this week (when does it ever?) but things are a little light in the old wallet department. Never fear, Perth has plenty of delicious eating out options that will fill your tum without draining the bank account.
SUSHI WAWA
We’re not short on great little sushi trains around Perth, and Sushi Wawa out by the IKEA building in Innaloo is one of the best. The train itself is constantly stocked with fresh Japanese goodness, heaps of tasty plates under $4.50, and their mains offerings are very reasonably priced too.
Manise Cafe
We may have lost our beloved Sparrow Indonesian restaurant recently, but Manise Cafe up the top of William Street is a more than worthy replacement! It’s hard to find anything above $10, almost impossible above $15, the portions are huge and the flavours even bigger. If we can sell it any harder to you, it’s also BYO!
Varsity
Varsity have been running the burger game across their six locations for years now thanks to a robust menu that offers something for everyone, including loaded fries, tasty wings, and even a few vege/vegan options. And while their menu selections generally aren’t too expensive when it comes to high-end burger joints around Perth, their special nights are hard to beat. Tuesday’s you’ll score their famous wings for half price, and Wednesday’s is $5 cheeseburger night – ooft!
The Cutting Board
A popular brekky and lunch spot for the offices along Pier St just east of Northbridge, The Cutting Board’s offerings are as bountiful as they are delicious. While the pricing is pretty standard across the board, they’re always rocking great breakfast combos and lunch specials – you’ll just have to pop in and find out what today’s are yourself!
