Mardi Himal Trek is a famous destination in the Annapurna region. The trek is positioned at the base of the Mardi Himal and Fishtail Mountain. The trek goes along small winding paths through dense rhododendron forests. Then, you further climb out of the forest at an elevation of around 4,400 meters. How to Reach Mardi Himal 
Mardi Himal Trek (4,400m) is a somewhat less popular hiking destination located in the Annapurna Region nearby Pokhara. The trek starts after an easy journey of Pokhara and goes to Kande and Phedi. The hike is not long and a moderate hike can take you up to 4,440m , starting at 900m. It's an ideal trek for a long-distance trip to the mountains. The trek is situated at east of Annapurna Base Camp and north of Pokhara. You will pass along the ABC going via Dhampus or Australian Camp, and Pothana to Deurali in this 13 days trek. Then, slowly step up from the beautiful forest route to Forest Camp. The following day, continue moving on until Low Camp which is a wonderful day in the forests. The view from Mardi Himal while sun kissing the Mt Fishtail and Pokhara valley is surreal. The next day, you'll trek towards Mardi High Camp, which is the final and most crucial day of the hike. The summit of this trek is at 4,440m which is known as Mardi Himal Base Camp. Then continue walking through the village of Siding, Lwang and Khora Muk. The villages are famous traditional Gurung/Magar Villages that offer the 100 year history of their tradition and life style.

Best Time to visit Mardi Himal
Mardi Himal Trek is one of the shortest hiking course in Nepal which elivates up to 4,400 metres. You can do the trek throughout the year. Whereas, Fall and Spring season is the ideal time to hike Mardi Himal. In this time, the weather and temperatures are generally steady, clean and clear and the forests are vibrant and offer a stunning views over the Himalayas. However, it's not recommended in the monsoon and winter season. However, there are some who prefer this time of year seeking to avoid the crowds and prefer to hike in solitude.
