Earlier this week, David Martindale was named as the Scottish Premiership manager of the month for the second time this season. Martindale, who has been in charge of Livingston since February, has made a tremendous impact at the club in just a short space of time. He is a talented young coach who has already earned plenty of respect from his team-mates and fans alike.

During the last month, Livingston manager David Martindale has been named Manager of the Month for Scottish Premiership. This is the third consecutive month that he has taken the award. Only Steven Gerrard and Jim Leishman have been able to claim the award more than once in the last three years.
David Martindale has been in charge of Livingston for only two seasons. He is still in the early stages of a career that he has mapped out, and has ambitions for his future. However, he is reluctant to set out targets publicly. He says that the team are capable of finishing in the top four this season.
Livingston have stayed in the division for four seasons, and have won back-to-back games in the top flight. They have also drawn two games in the last three months, and will travel to Tynecastle this Sunday to face Hearts. They will be looking to continue this streak.

Currently Livingston sit fourth in the Scottish Premiership table, just two points behind third-placed Aberdeen. The Livi have won seven of their 15 games so far this season, but have lost two. However, they have drew three and snatched two points.
While the Livi have been impressive this season, they still have a long way to go. After beating Kilmarnock, they drew with Hearts and Aberdeen and beat Dons. The Livi are still waiting for their first win at Old Firm level. They have managed to beat Celtic once, but only by a solitary goal. They also drew with Hearts and Rangers.
The award for manager of the month went to David Martindale. Martindale has been in charge of the Livi for just over a month, and he has already guided them to a Betfred Cup quarter-final, a semi-final, and an unbeaten run in the league.
While Martindale has not yet managed to put a foot in the door at Rangers, he has been named in bookmakers' list of coaches to watch. And he's going to face Michael Beale next week, at Loftus Road, in a winter friendly.

Managing director and head coach David Martindale has been named Scottish Premiership manager of the month for November. This is the first time he has been given the award since January 2021. The Livi boss beat Dundee United and Kilmarnock during November and picked up seven points from a possible nine.

He also has a big job on his hands. He is currently fourth in the table and only two points behind Aberdeen in the race for a place in the top four. Livingston has to win every game at Old Firm level to be a serious contender.
The manager of the month award was not the only award the Livi manager received this month. His club also defeated Ross County in the league cup semi-finals and beat Kilmarnock in the league. The manager of the month award for November is not only an accolade, but is a sign that the club is pulling together.
