There’s only one thing we might love more than our beaches in Perth and that’s a big beautiful beer garden on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily there is plenty of them to perch up at, and here’s a mere 22 of the best:
Picabar
Already one of Perth’s best spots for an outdoor bev, Picabar has truly levelled up with an expanded outdoor decking area and bar. Somehow they’ve managed to lose none of their old charm, whilst upgrading everything to make it one of, if not the best watering holes in Northbridge.
Badlands
If you like your beer garden with a side of rock’n’roll, Badlands‘ surprisingly lush beer garden should be top of your list. Bands rock out inside while you pull up outside in a nice spacious garden bar, featuring tunes pumping and awesome food from the “Eat Yard”, plus it’s open all the way through til 2am.
Market Grounds
Given its inner city location, it’s actually super impressive how massive Market Grounds’ beer garden has become. The whole venue is huge, but their table-and-chair-filled beer gardens have recently become even bigger.
The Brisbane
Given its unassuming position along Beaufort Street it can be easy to forget about The Brisbane, but it should be right back on your radar as summer approaches with its beautiful beer garden. Walking through the front gates into the beer garden is almost like stepping into a tropical Bali bar, minus the drunk, annoying Aussies and plus the friendly, chilled locals.
The Standard
Walking past the front of The Standard it can be easy to forget this Northbridge haunt actually has a pretty damn stunning back beer garden. It makes for a wonderful place to chill on Sunday arvos, but if you feel like dancing, pop in on the weekend when things get a little rowdier later on.
