The City of Baguio is known as the Summer Capital of the Philippines. Aside from this tag, the city boasts tourism spots and activities such as the Panagbenga Festival. Baguio also has the largest shopping place for “ukay-ukay”. Its cool weather and temperature is the highlight and adds charm to it being one of the best tourist destinations in the Philippines.
Baguio is a six to eight-hour travel from Metro Manila. The main modes of transportation are jeepneys and taxis which are cheap because they do not use air-conditioning. One good thing about Baguio is that their taxi drivers are very honest, even giving you the last centavo of your change. Most of the tourist attractions in Baguio can be accessed through jeepneys. So do not be shy asking the locals.
