The Forest Nature Camp Resort

From Maayo Shipping Port to Amlan, Negros Occidental, we took a jeepney going to the Dumaguete City which is 30 minutes away. Then took a trike going to the jeepney station going to Valencia, Negros Occidental and another 30 minutes to get there. We rented a trike going to the Forest Camp and the best thing was the driver offered to wait for us.

We got there before the open hours and waited for 5-10 minutes that ends up to selfies and picture-takings. The ambiance was literally forestry and refreshing for a city-girl’s point of view!

We spent an hour enjoying the greenery atmosphere.

How to get there?

With the same time and destination from out Bacolod Escapade, we’ll start at the Dumaguete City. Ride a trike and inform the driver to lead you to the jeepney stop going Valencia. Upon arriving, trike drivers will flock around and ask where you’re heading to so there won’t be any problem getting there. We rented a trike for P400 going to The Forest Camp Nature Resort and Tierra Alta Residential Resort. We paid the entrance fee P100/head as we’re only after the sightseeing and we don’t need to use their facilities. It won’t cost you that much if you know how to negotiate, ayt!

(The expenses are based on 2 heads.)

40 Amlan - Dumaguete
16 Trike to Jeepney Stop
80 Dumaguete - Valencia back&forth
400 Trike Rent (The Forest Camp and Tierra Alta)
200 Entrance Free - 100/head
736 Total
