I Left My Heart In Batangas

It was in October 2015 when we had another chance to be with each other again. After almost 3 months, we went for yet another travel and this time, I was the one who went to Manila to see him. When I was just planning for my trip, friends were already telling me that we will be officially boy friend and girl friend when I get back. I was actually praying for it because even if we were miles apart, his consistency never failed. Our communication got stronger and we were more open to each other. I liked the way he would text me in the morning and ends the night by saying sweet dreams to me.

When I arrived in Manila, I got to meet his younger brother and the three of us head to Enchanted Kingdom in Laguna. It was my first time to see EK and I’m not really the adventurous type as to try all the rides there. We tried the bump car together, the mini roller coaster (I forgot how it was actually called), the merry go round and the log jam. I thought I was dead already! I was scared when I got to try all those rides with him but it was so much fun. He was the only one who ever convinced me to try out rides. There’s a lot of other rides to try there for you guys if you’re not afraid of heights unlike me. The next day we went to Tagaytay and I remember it was a bit rainy so we tried their famous bulalo in Alamat Restaurant located inside Picnic Grove. After strolling, we headed to Club Balai Isabel in Batangas where we got to see the beautiful view of Taal volcano. I savored the moments we had there, taking in all the beautiful things surrounding us. And the best part of that was seeing the sunset with the man I could no longer imagine my life without. We talked til midnight under the starry skies and right then and there I realized I want him to be a part of my life…that even though I’m scared to be in a long distance relationship, I allowed myself to be in it. And right at this moment, I didn’t regret anything when I said yes to him. I look forward to the next time we get to visit beautiful Batangas again.
