Welcome in Puebla, Mexico!

After almost 30 hours between taxi, airports, airplanes and passport controls, I finally arrived in Mexico City, ready to catch a taxi to Puebla. I arrived in Mexico with no expectations, after 3 weeks of studying and university exams, I just needed to take some time off and relax. Mainly for this reason, when my dad asked me if I wanted to join him in his work trip to Puebla for one week, I said yes, without thinking twice!

I love to travel and discover new places, but till now I can say that I used to travel a lot in "touristic " or well known location. So now, for the first time, I am in a city where there is no tourism, or at least no tourism from outside Mexico. Here, you will find beautiful places, colourful houses, incredible churches, and a lot of Mexicans! This has its advantages and disadvantages, especially if you are a girl and travelling alone. During the flight over, I was actually dreaming of visiting different cities like Mexico City, Tlaxcala and so on, but I had to reconsider my plan when I got here and I decided, the only choice I had at the end, to visit Puebla and its surroundings.

I discovered beautiful places that a tourist guide book will neve mention, so this is my advice: forget about maps, books, wear comfortable shoes and clothes and get ready to be lost and then found again the right way! This is the best way to explore and find the real beauty of the city, but remember do not forget to pay attention when you walk alone with a nice camera on your neck!

Never stop dreaming, keep on discovering the world and do more of what you like! Keep on smiling :)
